Marketing & social

Own how the team shows up publicly — event coverage, sponsor-facing materials, social presence, recruiting.

A team that does impressive work nobody sees does not get sponsors, does not get recruits, and does not get remembered. This subsystem makes sure the work is visible — accurately, not as hype.

What makes it hard

The interesting parts of robotics are hard to photograph and harder to explain. Turning “the state estimator drifts less now” into something a sponsor or a prospective member cares about takes real judgment about what the work actually means.

What you’d get out of it

A portfolio built on genuinely interesting subject matter, and a direct line to the engineering — you will understand what you are covering, which is more than most media work offers.

What you'd work on
Social presence — build day coverage, test footage, and the story between milestones
Photo and video from the shop and the field
Sponsor-facing materials that make the technical work legible to a non-engineer
Recruiting campaigns each semester
